Kenny Pickett, 6’2” 217 Pitt
Games Studied
2021- Tennessee, Clemson, North Carolina
Overview
Pickett finished his Panther career as the school’s all time leader in passing yards as he
threw for over 12,300 yards with 81 touchdowns & 32 interceptions & completed 62% of
his passes. Picket started for essentially four years in college with his most productive
(by far) season coming in 2021. An able distributor of the football who has surprisingly
good athletic instincts as a runner.

Tape Analysis (Pickett)
Natural athletic instincts for position. Can make throws with relative ease on the run, but
his arm strength during movement throws can wain. Will exit clean pockets
unnesecarilly. I am not particularly enamored with his drop back game footwork.
Tendency to leave the center slowly. Smooth once he gets into his drop but lacks
aggressive immediate explosion. Can drop his eyes when dealing with “A” gap
pressure. Shows the ability to throw with pace & touch.
Naturally accurate thrower who shows a knack for completing passes. His career will be
system dependent. I can see Kenny Pickett flourishing in the right system with the right
organization. Or, I could see him heading the other direction if the wrong team takes
him. A streaky passer who can take over games if he gets hot.
Projection (Pickett)
Expect Pickett to slide a bit on Draft weekend. There has been talk about him going in
Round 1 but I do not see that happening. Expect Pickett to be gone at the top of the 3rd
